Author’s Note
Dear Reader,
I can’t believe it’s that time of year. The midpoint of 2024, the end of the school year. It’s a time for endings, wrapping up, cleaning up, and pause for me. As a teacher, this will be the end of my 22nd year. I can’t believe I’m saying that, now. There are a few goodbyes, an intense desire to commemorate and celebrate, but also a hope for the year to come. But, I am not going to lie. I’m looking forward to my summer. I have some exciting projects in the go, as well as looking forward to rest and travel. Thank you so much for being my readers. Have a great summer!
Nadia

Thank you 🙏🏾 Instagram Followers!
Since the start of this journey, I have seen this account bloom. I opened a separate public account to focus exclusively on my writing and publishing career in early 2019. In 2021, I wanted to grow this public account from it’s around 1,000ish followers to 5,000.
Through my Instagram account, I have revived my interest in 🎥 filmmaking, made new connections, learned so much, and grown my community.
now…
I’m happy to say we’re so much closer to that goal.
THANK YOU 🙏🏾 to everyone who’s followed my journey thus far!
And if you’re new WELCOME!
If you tried to follow me, but I blocked you, it was because your account looked suspicious or like spam.
But to everyone else, a heartfelt thank you! And if you’re still following my private site too, thank you!
I appreciate every like, share, and response.

360 Ambassador
A few weeks ago, I shared about my recent experience presenting as #TheReadingPartnership’s 360Ambassador to #Scarborough youth in April 9. Here I share the dynamic host organization’s take on the experience.
Posted @withregram • @trpnow From April 9 - May 2, 18 kids went on a journey to becoming published authors! 🚀📚
Our 360° Stories program gives kids the 360° experience of planning, writing, editing, and illustrating an original story. At the end of the program, the kids’ stories are published in a professionally-bound anthology and celebrated with a book launch, slated for June 2024.
The book launch will be headlined by author-ambassador, @nadialhohn_author, who has been sharing her experiences and insights with our young authors-to-be throughout the spring session. Nadia is a multilingual, award-winning Canadian author of several books for young people, including A Likkle Miss Lou and the Malaika series.
360° Stories is delivered with the support of @storyplanetto, TD Bank Group (@td_canada) and the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation.
Thank you again to the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation #ILOR for your support. If you’re interested in learning more about the organization, visit https://www.indigoloveofreading.org/.
